Selling our 2000 Bluebird TC2000FE School Bus Project
Should be an easy finish for someone who wants to skip all the expensive (and time consuming) prep work, as that part is done.
2000 Bluebird TC2000FE
Currently REGISTERED AS A MOTORHOME in Texas. Clear title.
35’ Overall length
Bought from Fort Collins, CO school district (original owner) in 2018
155,000 actual miles
ALL SCHOOL SERVICE RECORDS SINCE NEW
5.9 Cummins ISB
Air brakes
Six brand new tires
Recent oil, transmission fluid and coolant change
New LED headlights
Rear View Camera with 7″ monitor on dash
Two new bus batteries installed in 2019.
Starts, runs and drives well ( I drove it home from Colorado when I bought it, and have driven it another 500 miles or so since). Though let’s be real: it’s a 2000 model school bus that has been well cared for, not a new vehicle. Obviously it is being sold as-is.
Windows removed, re-sealed and reinstalled
Roof painted/sealed with Hy-Tech Bus Kote
Spray foam insulation professionally installed on all walls and ceiling
Floor sanded, holes filled, sealed, painted, insulated and tongue-and-groove plywood installed
AquaSeal Wood-Look Water Resistant Laminate Flooring: 6”x48” planks (enough to do the bus probably 1.5 to 2x over)(New in boxes; photo below is same flooring in a house)
Nothing is hidden; you can see how everything has been done.

I sprayed a light coat of primer over a good portion of the bus simply because we were driving it around, and I didn’t want to risk any run-ins with the law over driving a yellow school bus.
$18,000 invested. Asking $16,000.
